Christians Cannot Overcome Evil Without a Very Costly Fight
by Stuart DiNenno
We Christians can publish millions of sermons, books, podcasts, articles, social media posts, videos, etc., in an attempt to counter the apostasy of the church and the decay of our nations but none of it is going to make much of a difference, unless it produces a breed of Christian men who are willing to pay the heavy price that is necessary to overthrow the degeneracy of our age.
Christian men must be willing to get out in the streets and take a face-to-face public stand against the wickedness in the churches, the political system, and the general culture, and bear the punishment of being insulted, mocked, spit on, rejected by their family members, excommunicated, beaten, deprived of their jobs, imprisoned, and even killed, just as Christians were in prior ages, or no progress toward the reformation of our churches or the cleansing of our society will ever be made.
Anyone who believes that progress is going to be made without real suffering and sacrifice is living in a fantasy world. No people ever overcame evil in any society without a very costly fight. There must be real-world confrontation and struggle, and the courage to endure the pain that comes with it, without the slightest compromise of our principles.
