Everyone Is a Conspiracy Theorist
by Stuart DiNenno
Everyone is a “conspiracy theorist.”
You might believe that the German government conceived a plan to murder millions of Jews and other undesirables in the 1940’s and that thousands of other Germans went along with that plan and carried it out, or you might believe that the Jews only created a false narrative to divert attention away from their genocidal crimes in the Soviet Union and to manipulate millions through guilt for their own profit. Either way, you believe that there was a conspiracy.
You might believe that the September 11, 2001 incident at the World Trade Center in New York was planned by Osama Bin-Laden and his associates and carried out by a group of Arabs who hijacked planes and flew them into the buildings, or you might believe that the destruction was the result of an “inside job” carried out by the CIA who had explosives planted in the buildings and that the owners of the buildings were complicit in the plot. Either way, you believe that there was a conspiracy.
You might believe that Saddam Hussein amassed “weapons of mass destruction” that he was planning to use against the Jewish nation in the Middle East and other enemies of his, or you might believe that this was all a lie concocted by US government officials to justify invading Iraq for the benefit of powerful interests and the destruction of an enemy of the Jews. Either way, you believe that there was a conspiracy.
Everyone is a “conspiracy theorist.” It is only a matter of whether your conspiracy theories agree with the conspiracy theories held by the people in power and the majority of the people under them.
Amen.
As a sunomosiologist, I believe God ordained conspiracy in Gen.3:15.
See also Psalm 2, etc.
I don’t know what a sunomosiologist is, but I agree that in some sense God has determined there will be conspiracies
